fringe | suburban motel | shauna johannesen

Shauna Johannesen is an actor and playwright who's been around Pacific Theatre for a couple years, though your first chance to see her onstage was in WOLF AT THE DOOR this June. She'll also be in WITTENBERG at the end of October. Meantime, check her out in the fascinating site-specific production of George F. Walker's SUBURBAN MOTEL plays in an actual hotel room at The Waldorf. Shauna's in END OF CIVILIZATION.

SUBURBAN MOTEL
Six plays. One motel room. A world of crooked cops, inept criminals, jilted lovers, and drunken desk clerks. Transients cling to hope and perfect lives crumble. They all meet here at the Suburban Motel. A rare treat, George F. Walker's highly acclaimed Suburban Motel series will be performed for an audience that is seated inside an actual room at the Waldorf Hotel, making it an intimate and powerful performance experience.
