Reason To Subscribe #8: REFUGE OF LIES from (off) Broadway to Hemlock!

Andrea Loewen writes...

Since Ron is too humble to get up here and brag about his own show, I'm here to do it for him! We are so excited to have brought our homegrown play about local events, REFUGE OF LIES to Vancouver after its Off-Broadway run! That's right, last year our very own Ron Reed traveled to New York to see his play performed in the world's theatre capital! (Or at least the theatre capital of the western hemisphere.) As a special treat, Libby Skala, who performed her one-woman shows A TIME TO DANCE and LILIA! at Pacific Theatre, took a starring role in the play.

"Entertaining, engaging, and argumentative, the dramatic work forces the audience to address another perspective of holocaust survival and what personal and familial integrity means in one's own life." -Theatreonline.com.

"Causes a person to answer for themselves whether a person is always accountable for their actions or if you can be washed of your sins." - NYtheatre.com
